Lil' Boots is the perfect introduction for children ages 3-4 to the wonderful game. It is a program specially designed to initiate a positive experience for young players while learning the basic fundamental skills of the game. The program focuses on teaching soccer fundamentals through fun activities and small sided games. Lil' Boots Juniors builds self-esteem, confidence, and promotes sportsmanship and fair play all while developing a child's coordination, physical, mental and social skills in a non-competitive environment.

Lil' Boots players are also introduced to age-appropriate cognitive training techniques to help develop the mental skills they need for soccer: attention, awareness, communication, decision-making, memory, and more. By training the body and brain together, players develop a stronger set of skills to help them on and off the field.

Your child finished the fun introduction to the game of soccer in our Lil' Boots program and is ready to make the leap into the next level. However, getting to the next level is a gradual process. Exposing young players to activities and skills that are too advanced can be counter productive to their development and may even result in them quitting the game.

Young players ages 7-8 must go through an intermediate program that focuses on basic individual skills such as ball mastery and 1v1 moves.

Our new Player Development Bridge program is designed to do just that. It is the missing 'Bridge' between our LiL Boots program and the more advanced Player Development program and consists of age-appropriate activities that ensure a smooth transition to the next level.

Registration for Winter II programs is open.

Goalkeepers must possess and improve a separate set of technical, mental, and physical skills than the field player. It's even more important to obtain quality training independently when players don't receive this kind of focus and attention during their regular practices. Players learn through instructional demos, technical activities and dynamic exercises. They also have an opportunity to apply the skills and concepts learned in game-like situations during shooting drills and scrimmages.

Benefits

  • Improves technical skills such as diving, shot-stopping, positioning, punting, throwing, and more.
  • Develops cognitive skills such as hand/high coordination, reflexes, and quick reaction.
  • Teaches handling high balls, stopping breakaways, and proper positioning.
  • Enhances physical skills such as flexibility, agility, jumping, quick footwork, and more.
  • Develops leadership skills and improve communication with defenders.

Scoring goals is the most important and difficult skill in soccer. It requires solid technical skills as well as the ability to get into scoring positions. Our Art of Scoring Goals program focuses on developing these skills by incorporating a variety of finishing activities as well as scoring-related cognitive training. The program includes shooting drills that focus on game-related scenarios as well as creative scrimmages and much more.

While we can't guarantee anyone will win the Golden Boot award, we can ensure that players improve their ability to score goals and play a more significant role in their team's attacking play. Since goals are scored by players who play in different positions, the program is suitable for all soccer players, not just for forwards.

Benefits

  •     Improve overall shooting and finishing techniques.
  •     Enhance power and accuracy of the shot.
  •     Develop an ability to get into scoring positions.
  •     Improve confidence, awareness, and concentration in front of the goal.
  •     Learn goalkeepers' vulnerabilities.
  •     Increase the chances of putting the ball in the back of the net.

Street soccer is in the DNA of all the world's best players -- and so Golden Boot has created opportunities for players to connect with others and play, just as if they were meeting at a neighborhood field. These supervised, "organized pickup" situations are vital for developing originality, imagination, creativity, craftiness, problem-solving, and unique styles of play. Players receive supervision by Golden Boot trainers, who offer in-game advice and challenges that don't interrupt the flow of play, rather than the stop-start of traditional coaching.

  • A variety of pickup-style games
  • Different size teams: from 1v1 on up...
  • Different size playing areas, goals, and balls
  • Panna games
  • Freestyle tricks and moves to improve footwork, touch, and creativity
